Cape Malay Food Experience in the heart of the Cape Malay neighbourhood called Rylands Estate. This neighborhood is filled with descendants of Asian/Middle Eastern people who had come to South Africa as slaves from back in the day. The food is a fusion of your Asia, Middle-East and South Africa – tongue pleasing flavours! Many of the people from this neighbourhood are people who were displaced from District Six, Windermere, Constantia and Kensington.
Effective Date: 01 January 2025 Thank you for choosing to explore our vibrant food tours with us. We understand that plans may change, so we've designed a fair cancellation policy to protect both our guests and our team.
Cancellations by Guests More than 72 hours before tour: Full refund. Between 72 and 24 hours before tour: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours before tour or no-show: No refund. 2. Rescheduling Rescheduling is free up to 24 hours before the tour. Requests made less than 24 hours before the tour will be subject to a 25% rebooking fee and subject to availability. 3. Cancellations by the Operator If we cancel due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered: A full refund, or A chance to reschedule the tour at no additional cost. 4. Group Bookings (5+ People) 50% deposit required to secure the booking.
Cancellations 7 days or more in advance: Full refund of deposit. Cancellations within 7 days: Deposit is non-refundable. 5. No-Shows Guests who do not arrive on time or fail to attend without notice will not receive a refund. 6. How to Cancel Cancellations must be made in writing via email to melanintravelsmagic.com & phumeyndwe@gmail.com Time of cancellation is based on the time the message is received.
