Immerse yourself in the vibrant rhythms of South Africa with a unique 1-hour drumming workshop in the Lockdown informal settlement. Guided by talented local percussionists from our trusted partner, ABCD Travels, you’ll learn traditional African drumming techniques and experience how music brings communities together.
No prior experience is needed — just bring your energy and an open heart. This interactive outdoor session also weaves in elements of storytelling and cultural insight, offering a deeper connection to township life.

Effective Date: 01 January 2025 Thank you for choosing to explore our vibrant townships with us. We understand that plans may change, so we've designed a fair cancellation policy to protect both our guests and our team.
Cancellations by Guests More than 72 hours before tour: Full refund. Between 72 and 24 hours before tour: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours before tour or no-show: No refund. 2. Rescheduling Rescheduling is free up to 24 hours before the tour. Requests made less than 24 hours before the tour will be subject to a 25% rebooking fee and subject to availability. 3. Cancellations by the Operator If we cancel due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered: A full refund, or A chance to reschedule the tour at no additional cost. 4. Group Bookings (5+ People) 50% deposit required to secure the booking. Cancellations 7 days or more in advance: Full refund of deposit.
Cancellations within 7 days: Deposit is non-refundable. 5. No-Shows Guests who do not arrive on time or fail to attend without notice will not receive a refund. 6. How to Cancel Cancellations must be made in writing via email melanintravelsmagic@gmail.com and to our partner contact@abcd-concepts.co.za Time of cancellation is based on the time the message is received.
